Since Covid, the French artist has taken refuge in the forests. He paints a chronicle of the silent life of forests in constant metamorphosis. His compositions are constructed by a refined staging of forest colors and are the result of long studies of the undergrowth. The images, first captured by a camera, are richly pigmented prints without any post-production intervention on soft cotton paper. He aligns himself, with his own distinctive technique, with post-expressionist painting.
